Drs. Mihai Nica, Susanne Currier, Zhen Zhu, Mickey Hepner and Mohamad Shaaf along with Research Assistants and MBA students Dasha Titkina, Oleg Petrenko presented 8 posters on topics ranging from energy risk management to competition in academics at 2008 Oklahoma Research Day. Dr. Joseph Johnson spoke before the Economics Club on the subject, “What Makes Hiring Sensitive to Wage Hikes?”  He used labor demand as an illustration of how economists express economic relationships with math in order to break complexity into components that can be examined individually and measured with real-world data. Dr. Mihai Nica presented his paper entitled "Small Business Clusters Formation: MAR or Jacobs Effects?" at the 55th Annual North American Meetings of the Regional Science Association International. He also served as discussant.
