Bio: Dr. Hepner is an Associate Professor of Economics and
the Director of the UCO Public Policy Institute. He has
co-authored reports for the Urban Institute, the Heritage
Foundation, and the Cato Institute, as well as several
public policy groups in Oklahoma. In 2007 Dr. Hepner was
named the Oklahoma Professor of the Year by the Carnegie
Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching. In his spare
time he enjoys spending time with his wife, playing with his
two young children, and rooting for his beloved Texas
Rangers.
