 Dr. Zhen Zhu is an Associate Professor of
Economics and the Chair of the Economics Department. Dr. Zhu graduated from
Renmin
University with a Bachelor’s degree in
Business Administration, a Master’s degree in Economics from Bowling Green
State
University,
and a Ph.D. in economics from
University
of Michigan.
Dr. Zhu’s teaching fields include international
economics, quantitative forecasting, econometrics, business statistics and other
economics courses. Dr. Zhu also taught at
University
of Michigan
and
University
of Oklahoma.
Dr. Zhu’s current research interests include
international financial markets, energy and economic growth, efficiency of
energy markets, market structure and volatility in the
U.S.
natural gas markets. His research articles appeared in
Energy
Journal, Energy Economics, Journal of Futures Markets, Review of Futures
Markets, Southern Economic Journal, Public Choice,
and many more.
